Harvested 100 Husky Cherry Red(1) Tomatoes!

Today's harvest includes 12 SunGold, 11 Husky Cherry Red(1), 11 Husky Cherry Red(2), 4 Green Grape, 2 Sweet Baby Girl, 2 Sweet 100, Yellow Perfection, Matt's Wild Cherry, Yellow Currant and SunSugar for a total of 46 tomatoes.

Yesterday morning my wife cut up several tomatoes for us to eat for breakfast. Her description of Green Grape: "Heaven!". Nyagous -- "Better than Green Grape". Ella's Pink Plum -- "Not much flavor". I tried the three of them and had to agree on all the opinions. Nyagous had a juicier taste than Green Grape. Ella's Pink Plum was "crunchy" and didn't have much flavor. But it would make a good support tomato in a salad or a sauce. Also, we may have picked it too early.

We gave almost all of our uneaten tomatoes to our friends Elizabeth and Ricardo. They gave us at least 30 pounds of zucchini!

We've now harvested 100 Husky Cherry Red(1) tomatoes. Yesterday we harvested over 100 SunGold tomatoes for the year.
