Mexico Has Tomatoes; Husky Cherry Red(2) Has A Maturing Tomato

Today's harvest: 2 Matt's Wild Cherry

As noted, I now know how to harvest Matt's Wild Cherry. If it is dark red and underneath shadows, wait one more day. The two harvested today were picked at the right time.

Mexico has two very tiny growing tomatoes.

People suffering under a heat wave back east may not believe this, but yesterday was the first day in about three weeks were we got above 80 degrees in the San Fernando Valley. It's been three weeks of gray, clouds and a little drizzle. Several plants have suffered from the lack of warm weather. We need more of this! Remember this in thirty days or so when I complain when it's over 100 degrees.

Husky Cherry Red(2) has a maturing tomato.
