Today's harvest includes 66 SunGold, 11 Husky Cherry Red(2), 10 Husky Cherry Red(1), 9 Red Currant, 4 Black and Brown Boar(1) (7 ounces), 4 Yellow Currant, 4 Crimson Cushion (8 ounces, 6 ounces), 4 Yellow Perfection, 3 Black Cherry(1), 3 Jaune Flamme(1), 3 Matt's Wild Cherry, 3 SunSugar, 3 Italian Heirloom (6.5 ounces, 11 ounces, 8 ounces), 3 Indigo Apple(1), 2 Sweet 100, 2 Thessaloniki, 2 Black Cherry(2), 2 Black Krim(2), Pierce's Pride(1) (new), Brown Berry (new), Oaxacan Pink (new), Nyagous(1), Speckled Roman(1), Chinese Tea, Berkeley Tie Dye, Redfield Beauty, Noire Charbonneuse(1), Oaxacan Jewel (13 ounces), Speckled Roman(2) (7.5 ounces), Ella's Pink Plum, Pink Berkeley Tie Dye(1) (8.5 ounces), Nyagous(2) (not Nyagous), Big Bite (10 ounces), Black From Tula (13 ounces), Pink Furry Boar, Carmello, Garden Peach, Watermelon (12 ounces), Indigo Rose, Tolstoi, Snow White(2) and Green Grape for a total of 162 tomatoes.

My wife handed me some "tomato chips" that she made with the dehydrator. I ate them at work. They were tasty!

Yesterday my wife and I taste tested Pineapple Pig, Pink Furry Boar and Momataro, a tomato brought by my mother-in-law. Pineapple Pig was quite good with a mild, delicious taste (it reminded my wife of Porkchop). My wife had a one word response for Pink Furry Boar -- "Winner!". A refreshing and very good tasting tomato. Momataro was meaty but slightly less tasty than the first two. That's not as much of a complaint as it may sound -- it was only "quite good". I'd grow it. My wife just loved this tomato.

Brown Berry wasn't a surprise. I forgot to include it in yesterday's maturing tomatoes. But yesterday's 8 Snow White(2) tomatoes were a complete surprise.

Oaxacan Pink will probably end up being another Oaxacan Jewel but for now we'll leave it as is. The Brown Berry plant does not look good at all. It'll be good for about four tomatoes.

Now Black Cherry(1) is doubled over. We didn't get around to repairing it yesterday evening.

Whatever ate half of a Big Zebra also took out 3 Pineapple(1) tomatoes. 2 of them were almost completely eaten.

I got up to 104.5 yesterday. Still hot!

Maturing tomatoes include Marmara and Black Krim(1).

We've now harvested over 800 SunGold tomatoes (820) and over 1000 front yard tomatoes (1001).
