Harvested Clint Eastwood's Rowdy Red!

Today's harvest includes 99 SunGold, 24 Husky Cherry Red(2), 23 Husky Cherry Red(1), 13 Black Cherry(1), 10 Black Cherry(2), 10 Snow White(1), 8 Garden Peach, 5 Nyagous(2) (not Nyagous), 5 Gypsy, 5 SunSugar, 5 Olga's Round Yellow Chicken Egg (7 ounces, 7 ounces), 4 Jaune Flamme(2), 3 Japanese Black Trifele (8 ounces), 3 Yellow Perfection, 3 Snow White(2), 3 Matt's Wild Cherry, 3 Speckled Roman(3), 3 Pierce's Pride (8 ounces, 7.5 ounces, 7.5 ounces), 2 Clint Eastwood's Rowdy Red, 2 Indigo Rose, 2 Red Boar(2), 2 Big Bite (11.5 ounces, 6 ounces), 2 Indigo Apple(2), 2 Jaune Flamme(1), 2 Green Grape, 2 Yellow Currant, 2 Yellow Furry Boar, 2 Speckled Roman(2), Chinese Tea, Porkchop(1) (8 ounces), Oaxacan Pink (8.5 ounces), Indigo Apple(1), Brad's Black Heart (11 ounces), Amazon Chocolate (12 ounces), Thessaloniki, Nebraska Wedding, Pink Berkeley Tie Dye(1), Berkeley Tie Dye (6 ounces), Marianna's Peace (7.5 ounces), Delicious, Black From Tula (6 ounces), Crimson Cushion, Black and Brown Boar(2), Purple Dog Creek (15 ounces), Italian Heirloom (7.5 ounces), Earl of Edgecombe (8.5 ounces), Red Boar(1) and Marmara for a total of 269 tomatoes.

Yesterday it got up to 101 degrees at Pierce College. That seemed to reflect in today's harvest. There were a lot of tomatoes but it didn't look like it weighed more than yesterday's harvest. A lot of cherry tomatoes in today's harvest. Not that we're complaining...

We brought a lot of tomatoes to the "seed lady" to be distributed throughout their neighborhood. It looks like we'll make a tomato donation to charity soon. It would have happened Friday but time but my wife ran out of time...

A Persimmon branch got so heavy it simply doubled over. This is not the first time such a thing occurred but it is the first time that it felt dangerous to tape it back into position. The tomatoes were so heavy I thought I would break the branch in two. So I took one of my tomato gloves and laid it between the fallen tomatoes and the ground.

An Italian Tree is maturing.

We've now harvested over 1600 SunGold tomatoes (1603) and over 500 Husky Cherry Red(2) tomatoes (501). Also, we've now harvested over 2000 tomatoes in the front yard (2070), over 4000 tomatoes in the month of July (4149) and over 5000 tomatoes for the year (5013)!
