Harvested Over 5500 Tomatoes This Year!

Today's harvest includes 30 SunGold, 7 Snow White (front yard), 7 Violet Jasper, 5 Husky Cherry Red, 5 Yellow Perfection, 4 Brown Berry, 3 Babywine, 3 Thessaloniki, 2 Gajo de Melon, 2 Snow White (back yard), 2 SunSugar, 2 Garden Peach, 2 Michael Pollan, Miss Elliotte Black, Japanese Black Trifele, Poma Amoris Minora Lutea, Stupice, Topaz, Lyn's Mahogany Garnet, Plum Tigris, Marianna's Peace, Zapotec Pleated, Gypsy, White Currant, Azoychka/not Azoychka and Toni's Round for a total of 87 tomatoes.

We've now harvested over 5500 tomatoes for the year (5547)! This has been an excellent year for taste but we won't have numbers to compare with last year. Last year we harvested over 11,000 tomatoes with 20 fewer plants.

It looks like our harvest numbers will drop soon. SunGold, our largest producer by far, looks like it will slow down by next week.
